Roscoe Cloth and J&J Brightbart ltd building in Meanwood. This part of Leeds had a lot of industry running near the beck (and still does), and there are lots of old industrial buildings scattered around there (which I’m sure I’ll draw some of). Not sure if this mill has a name, but it stands out strongly on the main road, especially with the still prominent ghost signs. The name ‘Roscoe’ is synonymous with that area too, there used to be ‘the Roscoe’ pub, which got knocked down, then ‘the New Roscoe’, which has now closed down.
