Title: Seahouses Slipway

This was the view from our holiday cottage window one summer. When a boat needs attention more often than not it is sailed onto the slipway and worked on during low water. I can never walk past this scene without being awestruck by how the boats which seem so small in the harbour take on a scale that you wouldn’t believe when standing next to them. This change of scale is a constant surprise. It is unusual to see more than one at a time and three is unique in my experience. The clarity of early morning light and the combination of boats made the perfect opportunity to appreciate the beauty of their design and construction while giving me lots of time before the tide returned.
