Jennison is a 23 year old Designer from North Yorkshire, whose practice is centred around communal experience and Social Design. He is a multi-disciplined practitioner, working in a variety of materials from new technologies to installation, performance, paint and print. After completing his BA(Hons) in Fine Art & Illustration at Coventry University, he is now an alumni of the Royal College of Art after studying MA Information Experience Design.
Jennison is interested in the idea of a “false mundanity” within everyday objects and activities that play a crucial role in the performance of social ritual and tradition. He believes they contribute a greater impact during use, combating issues of mental health illness, community isolation and bereavement. Examples are a 3pm “cuppa tea” with a loved one or tackling DIY at home.
